A section of NRM party members in Teso are worried about the transparency of primary election of the LC3 chairpersons and their councilors over use of money for vote rigging.
Speaking to Mama Bukedea radio David Outa says the recently concluded elections of the MPs and Lc5 chairperson has left people doubting the outcome of any election conducted by the party due to reported vote rigging and violence in many parts of the region.
He thus calls on the candidates and the election officials to cling on transparency and accountability for the good of the local person.
Meanwhile Musa Oroma the district Registrar for Soroti says they are going to try as much as possible to be transparent during elections.
However, David Ongom Mudong the police spokesman says security is guaranteed during todays elections in all polling stations to keep law and order
