Government appealed to go slow in the reopening of schools amid rising cases of COVID 19

As the proposed date for the reopening of schools starting with candidate classes draws near, the government has been urged to go slow and further critically seek advice from the ministry of health on the safety of children and teachers while at school.

Michael Okello the chairperson of Anyara Sub County in Kalaki district calls upon the government to pay much attention to the fate of day schools whereby the movement of children and teachers cannot easily be controlled thus putting their lives at risk of getting infected with Corona.

 Okello notes that if schools are to reopen, the government needs to put all measures and equipment necessary for the prevention of Coronavirus.
