Pallisa man fined for alledly stealing two kilos of pork

A 31 year old man in Pallisa district has been fined of 8,000shillings for allegedly stealing two kilos of pork.

The suspect Dan Okello a resident of Ogalai village, Nyakoi parish in Kameke Sub County is believed to have stolen the delicacy belonging to Stephen Opolot a resident of Karieu village.

Gogo Okiko, the pork seller at Osutuwa trading center said  Okello took advantage of congestion in the joint to steal the pork .

However, Dan Okello the accused when contacted for a comment by our reporter deliberately decided to switch off his phone.

Emma Okurut, the Kameke sub county NRM chairperson warned youth in the area against theft.
